Blue womb
experimental documentary | FullHD | colour | stereo | 11' | 2014
co-directed with Hanna Thomschke
Lago is a tiny village in Northern Italy, whose center is a small lake. At first sight, the village seems to be, like many others, anonymous and ordinary. However, a mysterious legend breaks its normality. It is told that, at the end of World War I, an Austro-Hungarian train which connected two strategic points nearby, has been thrown into the lake and is still there today underneath the water. Over the years, clay covered the train, but fishermen and children who live in the village tell that sometimes, if you get close to the surface of the lake, you can still hear a driving noise coming from under the water.
