PLEIN AIR PAINTING: PASTELS and OILS ON CAPE COD

Laura and William are offering this course on Cape Cod where the light is so special and where land and sea merge into beautiful changing landscapes.

By popular demand this painting weekend comes on the heels of their Italian Painting workshop. This past summer's Tuscan retreat-workshop was such a success that Laura and William have been asked to offer this long weekend closer to home.

These six two and a half hour sessions will focus on plein air techniques that quickly capture the light and landscape at a particular moment, focusing on composition, color and value. Individual and general instruction will be offered, followed by critique and discussion. This fun workshop will allow students, regardless of experience, to create successful paintings inspired by the Cape .

The workshop is open to all levels of painters. The cost is $475 which includes the tuition, administration fee, and lodging at The Cove in Orleans . The single-room supplement fee is $115, which brings the cost to $590. Meals are not included in this cost.
